The 966BA/V Series safety valve wrenches from Beta Tools are designed specifically to give you extra leverage to turn a valve wheel handle. This can save critical seconds when trying to stem a leak or contamination. The copper-beryllium (Cu-Be) construction is non-sparking, making it ideal for use in environments with combustible gasses* in the atmosphere.

This 966BA/V80 model measures 430mm long (L) with a 48mm jaw opening (L1) to work on valve handles measuring 250mm to 400mm diameter (Ø). Weighs 1520g. (16 15/16" L, 1 7/8" L1, 10" - 13 3/4" Ø, 3 lb 6 oz.) This is the smaller of the two 966BA/V Series wrenches. Natural brass color with a Beta Orange insulated handle. Sold individually.

Note: The Cu-Be material is softer than steel, so care must be taken to apply force gradually. Never pound on the handle or add a "cheater" pipe to increase leverage! Doing so will damage the tool and void the lifetime warranty.
