Beta 965BA and 966BA Series Sparkproof Safety Valve Wrenches
The 965BA and 966BA Series safety valve wrenches from Beta Tools are designed specifically to give you extra leverage to turn a valve wheel handle. This can save critical seconds when trying to stem a leak or contamination. The copper-beryllium (Cu-Be) construction is non-sparking, making it ideal for use in environments with combustible gasses* in the atmosphere.
Note: The Cu-Be material is softer than steel, so care must be taken to apply force gradually. Never pound on the handle or add a "cheater" pipe to increase leverage! Doing so will damage the tool and void the lifetime warranty.
* Not for use in or around acetylene! Acetylene gas can react with the copper in this tool to form acetylide, a powerful explosive.
