The 1062GM Series self-locking pliers from Beta Tools have long, C-shaped jaws to reach around obstacles. A hinged, flat platform at the end of each jaw "floats" to help grasp odd-shaped objects. A knurled thubscrew on one handle adjusts the jaw opening, and a lever on the other handle releases the jaws when squeezed. The jaws and handles have a chrome-plated finish. The adjuster and release lever both have a tough black oxide finish.
