The 1191BM/L side cutters from Beta Tools are designed to cut flush with a surface. They are ideal for trimming the loose end of a zip tie. The flush cut won't leave a sharp edge sticking out ready to draw blood! The black and Beta orange Bi-Material handles are molded for ergonomic comfort, with a raised flare at the front to help keep your fingers away from the joint and the cutting edges. The handles are spring-loaded to open automatically for one-handed use.

This size measures 130mm long overall (L). The cutting jaws measure 12mm wide (A), with an 18mm long cutting edge (L1). The cutting edge of the jaws is angled to move the handles away from the surface. Recommended for soft materials such as nylon zip ties, or copper wire 1mm diameter or less. (L = 5 1/8", A = 1/2", L1 = 11/16", max wire size 18 AWG). Sold individually.

Note: Not for use on steel wire! Using these cutters on harder materials than stranded copper wire will damage the jaws. This is considered abuse and is not covered by the Beta Tools lifetime warranty.
