This heavy-duty temperature switch from Auto Meter is normally off (NO) at ambient temperature. It is designed to turn on when heated above 220° F. This makes it ideal for activating a warning light or fan relay (not included) when coolant temperature gets too high. The switch will stay on until temperature drops back down to 190° F. 1/2 NPT male threads.
The two-wire, non-grounding switch can be used with just about any warning light, including the Auto Meter Pro-Lite Warning Light, Part No. AM3240, and the Auto Meter Mini Pro-Lite Warning Light, Part No. AM3239 (each sold separately)
