ARP Ultra-Torque Assembly Lube has been fine-tuned to provide the most accurate and consistent preload on critical fasteners. Applying ARP Ultra-Torque to threads and the underside of the bolt head and/or nut reduces unpredictable friction between fasteners. This allows for more even clamping tension from one fastener to the next. The metal-free lubricant is specially formulated with rust and corrosion inhibitors and offers a load range of 500,000 psi. Use it on Rod and Main bolts, Cylinder Head bolts, or any other application where incorrect preload could lead to disaster.
This very small 0.5 ounce packet is just enough to install a set of rods or a set of head bolts. This is the same size package normally included with ARP fastener kits.
Note: This lubricant reduces the torque required to obtain the proper preload! Most torque values assume dry fasteners which require additional torque to overcome friction. ARP Assembly Lube reduces the required torque by as much as 30%. ARP engine fasteners are supplied with torque recommendations specifically for this lubricant.
