These are the same ratcheting tear-off posts supplied on SA2010 and later RaceQuip Pro Series and Youth helmet shields. Each post has an easy-grip design that lets you turn the eccentric post by hand to 8 different positions to adjust tear-off tension. Special teeth on the base mesh with teeth on the Pro Series shield for secure, "ratcheting" action that won't come loose during a race. The plastic posts even have a threaded metal insert molded in for extra strength. Each kit includes two posts with mounting screws and spring washers, enough for one shield.
Fits SA2010 through SA2015 RaceQuip Pro Series and SFI Youth helmet shields only. Not designed to fit any other brand or model. You may be able to get them to fit on a different shield, but only RaceQuip Pro Series shields have the molded-in teeth required for the ratcheting action.
