The Aeromotive A3000 is a bold new step forward in racing fuel pump design. The Modular concept stacks the A3000 pre-filter and A3000 pressure regulator directly on the pump for a clean, compact installation.
Conceived as the successor to the competition-proven A2000 pump, the A3000 boasts 15% more flow (400 GPH @ 5 psi) and lighter weight (5.1 pounds) than the A2000 (300 GPH @ 5psi, 7 lbs). Bolt flanges on the inlet and outlet let you "clock" the filter and regulator independently in 45 degree increments to clear obstructions. The 100 micron pre-filter has a -12 (1 1/16-12) O-ring port inlet. The adjustable 14 - 24 psi regulator has a -10 (7/8-14) O-ring outlet port and a -8 (3/4-16) O-ring bypass port. A 1/8 NPT port (plugged from the factory) is provided for installation of a fuel pressure gauge (sold separately). Add a "dead-head" style regulator (sold separately) if pressures below 14 psi are required.
The A3000 pump fits in the same space as the A2000 (8 1/4" tall x 6 1/2" wide x 7" deep). Multiple bolt patterns on the bottom of the pump offer mounting flexibility. You can even use some competitor's mounting brackets! Compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends including E85, pure alcohol/methanol, and diesel fuel. Recommended for racing use; limited street use requires additional components. 12 volt DC, typical current draw 12.5 amps (@ 12 psi).
This part number includes the A3000 pump, A3000 pre-filter with 100 micron element, and A3000 adjustable 14-24 psi pressure regulator, as well as O-rings and hardware to link the three. Made in USA.
