An effective, high-flowing fuel filter is critical for high-horsepower racing applications. This Aeromotive filter features a strong yet lightweight black anodized aluminum housing capable of withstanding the high pressures of fuel injection systems. The red anodized aluminum top has 3/8 NPT female threaded inlet and outlet ports for easy connection to any fuel system.
The pleated fabric filter element has a nominal 10 micron rating* to ensure a clean fuel supply. Aeromotive filter elements have more pleats for more surface area than the competition, which means more flow and less restriction: This filter is capable of flowing up to 200 GPH with less than 1 psi pressure drop (0.4 psi @ 100 GPH).
Includes one replaceable 10 micron fuel filter element and mounting bracket. For use after the fuel pump only. Suitable for use with gasoline, gasoline / alcohol blends up to E15, and diesel fuel.
* A 10 micron particle is smaller than the diameter of a speck of pollen.
Note: Not for use with fuels containing nitromethane or more than 15% alcohol (E15).
Replacement 10 Micron Fuel Filter Elements for Aeromotive Remote Filters (Part No. AEI-12608) are also available separately. One element is included with this assembly.
