This adapter will allow you to bolt your 6-bolt Momo, OMP, or Sabelt steering wheel to the steering column in many different GM or Mopar vehicles without any welding. Also accepts Sparco wheels with the common 6x70mm bolt pattern. The collapsable structure is designed to absorb an impact, deforming the hub instead of your ribcage.
This hub has no provision for quick release.
Applications include:
Buick / Olds / Pontiac - most 1969 to 1983 (without telescoping column)
Chevrolet Corvette - 1969 to 2004*
Dodge Neon - 1994 - 2005**
Dodge Viper - All
Pontiac Fiero - All
* Corvette notes: This hub eliminates the telescoping column function on C3 (1969-83). C5 (1997-04) requires trimming of the plastic housing for fit.
** Neon SRT4 note: Steering wheel will not clear the turn signal stalk without a hub spacer (not included). Requires rewiring for horn operation.
