Clean-break Jiffy-tite 3000 Series fittings can flow 4.34 GPM when connected (tested with 5 psi inlet pressure, connected to 2 feet of -8 hose). This socket fitting is valved and closes automatically when disconnected. The socket has a lanyard attached for use as a safety break-away connection. Jiffy-tite 3000 Series Sockets such as this one will mate to any Jiffy-tite 3000 Series Plug. (They will not mate to a 2000 or 5000 Series plug.)
