Are you tired of balancing your bearing carrier assembly on blocks of wood and making a mess with gear lube when changing gears? Then our Gear Change Tray is for you!
We designed this special tray to securely hold the Mk-series bearing carrier assembly upright while catching all of the dripping gear lube for proper disposal. The four hollow posts are positioned to slip right over four of the studs on the bearing carrier, so it won't slip off or tip over. The 3 3/4" tall posts hold the assembly high enough that you can still reach the layshaft nut. A side tray keeps the layshaft clean and safe.
The aluminum tray measures 12.3" x 9.3", just large enough to do the job but still small enough to take with you to the track. It is so light that some people like to place it on the carrier studs before lifting the assembly out of the gearbox!
