If you have ever tried to pour fluids into a plastic utility jug, you have probably ended up spilling some of it (or a lot of it). This clever funnel assembly eliminates the headaches and makes the job much easier.
A wide-mouth 10 1/2" (270mm) diameter funnel is attached directly to a thread-on cap that fits Flo-Fast jugs (sold separately), as well as most other brands that use a 3" thread.* Screwing the funnel directly to the neck of your jug positively prevents the funnel from dancing around as you pour. The flip-top lid helps to keep dust and debris out during storage,** and a 40 micron filter screen inside the funnel adds another layer of protection against contamination.
This funnel assembly is great for transferring fluids from one jug to another, but it is also an ideal solution when dumping waste fluids (such as used oil) into a utility jug for recycling. The large funnel opening lets you pour directly from your drain pan without spilling! Sold individually. Jug not included. Includes O-ring cap with installed funnel, lid, and filter screen.
* The threads are a somewhat loose fit on Scribner brand jugs, but an O-ring seal inside the cap provides a good seal.
** This assembly is not intended to be used as a cap for long-term storage. Never use this funnel assembly in place of a cap when transporting fluids of any kind.
