OBD-II DashLink Plug and Play for Apple iOS Devices

Brand: Auto Meter Gauges

The revolutionary DashLink from Auto Meter turns your iPhone or iPad into a virtual dashboard! Get the power and accuracy of Auto Meter competition instruments in the palm of your hand. Display and log vehicle and engine performance, and even clear trouble codes and Check Engine lights.

The compact DashLink transmitter plugs into your car's OBD-II diagnostic port and transmits vehicle data wirelessly to your Apple iOS* device. Install the DashLink app on your device and start enjoying a new gauge package, without the hassle or expense of installing a full set of gauges. And remember, you can just unplug the DashLink once you're done. Your interior remains untouched.

The DashLink connector requires no batteries or any external connection to vehicle power. Compatible with OBD-II and EOBD compliant vehicles only. Will not communicate with OBD-I (pre-1996 cars manufactured in USA, pre-2001 cars sold in EU) or racing ECUs.

The DashLink app is free to download from the Apple App Store. Additional in-app purchases are available that will allow access to more vehicle-specific information. The app lets you customize the display to meet your needs. Allowing the app to access your phone's accelerometer and location services will give you track mapping, acceleration and braking data, and more. Requires an Apple iOS* device with Bluetooth capability (not included).

Note: The actual data channels available will vary by vehicle make and model. Typical basic parameters include RPM, speed, coolant temp, and throttle position.

* Earlier Apple devices (those with the iPod-style 24-pin connector) use a different Bluetooth protocol and will not communicate with the DashLink. Apple iOS devices typically have the smaller Lightning connector.
