This SPA Design "atomizer" nozzle can be used in either the cockpit or the engine bay. It is designed to aerate the AFFF solution, turning it into foam. It will not work with older Halon fire suppression systems. This is the same nozzle assembly included with later SPA FIA18 AFFF fire systems sold from 2018-2023. Includes bulkhead mounting nut. Sold individually. (FIA18 systems originally included 4 nozzles.)
This nozzle has a push-in connector designed for use with 5/16" Dekabon Tubing (Part No. 2456-.312). It will not work properly with bare aluminum tubing.
Note: Older SPA AFFF fire systems (prior to 2018) use 1/4" tubing and require a slightly different nozzle (Part No. 2452).
