Silicone Stock Valve Cover Gasket, Austin-Healey 100-4

This precision gasket has been designed specifically for the original steel valve cover on the 4-cylinder 2660cc Austin engine. The high-temperature silicone construction allows the gasket to crush -- without extruding outwards -- much more than the stock cork gasket for better sealing.

Simply clean your valve cover, spread a thin bead of RTV sealant around the flange to hold the gasket in place, and install the gasket. Bolt down your cover and you're ready to go! When it's time to adjust the valves, the gasket will stay with the valve cover. The gasket is reusable indefinitely, which means it could be the last valve cover gasket you will ever buy! Fits the original Austin steel valve cover on the 2.6L Austin BS1 engine as used on the 1953-56 Austin-Healey 100-4 (BN1 and BN2). Not for use with aluminum valve covers. May not fit the 100S.
