Silicone Offenhauser Valve Cover Gasket, Triumph TR3/4

This precision gasket has been designed specifically to fit the Offenhauser aluminum valve cover for the 1952-67 4-cylinder Standard-Triumph "wet liner" engine. The high-temperature silicone construction allows the gasket to crush -- without extruding outwards -- much more than the stock cork gasket for better sealing.

Simply clean your valve cover, spread a thin bead of RTV sealant around the flange to hold the gasket in place, and install the gasket. Bolt down your cover and you're ready to go! When it's time to adjust the valves, the gasket will stay with the valve cover. The gasket is reusable indefinitely, which means it could be the last valve cover gasket you will ever buy! Fits the aftermarket Offenhauser finned aluminum valve cover for the 1991cc and 2138cc Standard wet-liner engine sometimes fitted to the Triumph TR2/TR3/TR4. Not for use with the stock steel valve cover, or for any other brand of aluminum covers.
