Silicone Stock Valve Cover Gasket, Triumph TR7

This precision gasket has been designed specifically for the original steel valve cover on the 1975-81 4-cylinder Triumph TR7 engine. The high-temperature silicone construction allows the gasket to crush -- without extruding outwards -- much more than the stock cork gasket for better sealing.

Simply clean your valve cover, spread a thin bead of RTV sealant around the flange to hold the gasket in place, and install the gasket. Bolt down your cover and you're ready to go! When it's time to check the valves, the gasket will stay with the valve cover. The gasket is reusable indefinitely, which means it could be the last valve cover gasket you will ever buy! Fits the original factory steel valve cover on the 2.0L 8-valve engine as used on the Triumph TR7. Not for use with aftermarket aluminum valve covers. Does not fit the earlier Standard SC, 1850cc Dolomite, 2.0L 16-valve Dolomite Sprint, 1700cc/1850cc SAAB 99, or SAAB B-Series engines.
