These precision gaskets have been designed specifically for the original valve covers on the 1971-77 Triumph V8 engine. The high-temperature silicone construction allows the gaskets to crush -- without extruding outwards -- much more than the stock cork gaskets for better sealing.
Simply clean your valve cover, spread a thin bead of RTV sealant around the flange to hold the gasket in place, and install the gasket. Bolt down your cover and you're ready to go! When it's time to adjust the valves, the gasket will stay with the valve cover. The gaskets are reusable indefinitely, which means it could be the last valve cover gasket you will ever buy! Sold in pairs (enough for one engine).
Fits the original factory valve covers on the 3.0L Triumph V8 engine as used on the Triumph Stag. May not fit aftermarket valve covers. Will not fit the Rover V8 engine used in the TR8.
