This direct-acting Tilton hydraulic throwout bearing eliminates all lost motion due to cable stretch or linkage flex. The ultra-low 1.44" height makes it small enough to be adapted to many different installations. Most applications will require fabrication of an adapter plate.
The radius-faced bearing has a 38mm contact diameter for clutches with a 1 3/8" diaphragm spring hole, including Tilton OT-V (4.5") clutches, Tilton OT-III (5.5") Clutches, and certain AP 5.5" carbon clutches (CP6913, CP6914, and CP7543 only). Maximum travel is 0.50 inches, so a clutch pedal stop must be used to prevent damage to the clutch and the engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 3/4" bore master cylinder (sold separately).
