Don't put a fresh clutch disc against your old, warped clutch pressure plate! Our set includes both a brand new, stock-type clutch friction disc and pressure plate (clutch cover) assembly for the 2.0L Ford SOHC "Pinto" engine.
Clutch Cover Assembly: The clamping force is designed to handle the output of a healthy stock engine, with enough reserve capacity to move a fully-loaded Pinto wagon. The low release pressure (designed for daily street driving) can be used with an external clutch slave cylinder, or even some cable-operated release mechanisms. Bolts to the stock Pinto flywheel without any modifications required.
Clutch Friction Disc: The hub springs and sprung marcel make modulation easy for smooth street driving. This also works well in racing series using a standing start. 215mm (8.46") OD, 1" x 23 spline. Does not fit Tilton or AP racing clutches.
This complete kit even includes a clutch alignment tool! Does not include flywheel bolts or locating dowels.
