Schroth M8 or 5/16 Insert for bolt-in end plate w/ 1/2" hole

This special shoulder insert from Schroth lets you use common bolt-in end plates with a 1/2" bolt hole where the vehicle has already been set up for 5/16" or 8mm bolts. Bolt-in plates which are 5mm (3/16") or thicker, such as the Schroth B24 or Simpson plates, will be held solidly in place. Thinner plates such as the Schroth B45 or B63 (with 3-bar wrap built in) will be able to pivot freely. Sold individually, 1 required per bolt-in plate.

Schroth recommends positioning this insert with the flange below the plate (against the mounting structure) and a washer above the plate (so the bolt head will bear against the washer).
