This ultra-programmable shift light lets you choose not only the RPM range to fire off, it even lets you choose the LED colors and the sequential pattern! Eight bright multi-color LEDs can sweep left to right or converging towards the center, in different color schemes. The pushbutton programming menu lets you change so quickly, you can use one pattern for daylight races and a different pattern for night racing.

The compact housing measures just 75mm (3") Wide x 18mm (11/16") High x 29mm (1 3/16") Deep and is designed to mount to the top of your dashboard. The programming pushbutton is built into the back of the unit, so no other space is required on the dash panel.

The new, more flexible programming menu lets you set the pulses per revolution and RPM levels numerically, or by the traditional Cartek half-RPM method (just run the engine at half the desired RPM and press the programming button). Either way, you set the beginning and top RPM and the Cartek Shift Light automatically calculates the steps in between. This unit has a built-in RPM signal filter to deal with "noisy" ignition signals such as the Bosch Blue coil (the filter can be switched off if the signal pulses are clean and steady). You can even connect a warning switch (sold separately) to make the shift light act as a warning light for low oil pressure or engine overheating!

12 volt, negative ground shift light is compatible with breaker-point ignitions and any electronic ignition with an RPM signal output (except certain older CDI ignition systems). Cars with OBD-II compliant ECUs should use the Cartek OBD-II Shift Light Module (Part No. 1068-099) instead. Instructions included.
