Canton spin-on oil filters are a direct replacement for your spin-on filter, but are easily disassembled to inspect for signs of engine damage. The super-strong extruded aluminum housing will not blow out or distort under the highest pressures. The synthetic deep-media filter element can out-flow two conventional racing filters, yet filters down to 8 microns. The extra capacity of the deep media also means that no filter bypass valve is needed.

This long filter housing measures 6.25" long x 3" diameter with a 2.62 inch O-ring diameter. The 20x1.5mm metric filter thread fits many late-model cars from around the world, including the Chevrolet ZR1 engine. Includes one 4.62" 8 Micron Filter Element (Part No. 1292).
