Intercomp tire pressure gauges are the most durable and shock resistant in the industry. Intercomp's patented internal mechanism has only four moving parts (compare to 14 or more in other gauges). Fewer moving parts means greater reliability.
This 2.5" diameter analog gauge reads from 0 to 60 psi, with markings at 1 psi increments and every fifth marking numbered (only the numbers 5, 10, 15, 20, etc are printed on the dial face). The liquid inside the gauge helps to further absorb shock and vibration for even greater long-term accuracy. A low-profile swivel ball chuck and 17" Goodyear hose allow easy access at any angle. A thumb-operated bleeder valve is provided below the gauge head for quick pressure adjustments.
For optimum accuracy and reliability, the needle moves back to zero as soon as the gauge is removed from the tire valve. This gauge can be converted to hold the reading if desired by adding our Compact Air Gauge Check Valve (Part No. 3228-500, sold separately).
Note: Liquid-filled gauges are filled approximately 90% full of liquid. An air pocket must be left to allow room for the liquid to expand and contract with temperature changes. It is normal for the air pocket to be visible in the face of the gauge. This is not a defect!
