Ford Motor Co discontinued the thermostat housing for the Kent engine decades ago. This brand-new water outlet neck is designed specifically for FF1600 use.
The billet aluminum neck is expertly machined to be a perfect fit on the Ford OHV (pushrod) "Kent" cylinder head. Unlike the stock unit, the outlet points straight up for more flexibility in plumbing. The design will accommadate a thermostat, but three restrictor washers are included for use without a thermostat. Each restrictor has a different ID, allowing you to fine-tune the coolant speed and back pressure to suit your needs.
The neck accepts a 1.50" (38mm) ID hose (sold separately) and stands 2.12" (54mm) tall including the base. Kit includes thermostat housing, gasket, bolts, washers, and three restrictors (0.875", 1.00", and 1.125" ID). Made with pride in the USA.
