Setrab Series 6, 19 Row, Two Pass Cooler, M22 Ports

Unlike standard Setrab Pro-Line coolers, this Setrab 2-pass cooler has one divided end tank that sends the oil through half of the cooling rows, then back through the other half of the rows. Applications with low flow rates below about 3 GPH (such as gearboxes, differentials, and most motorcycle engines) often benefit from the use of a multi-pass cooler.

Just like other Setrab coolers, a tough black epoxy finish protects against corrosion and looks great. This 6-series cooler measures 13" long (11 1/8" not including mounting tabs) x 1 7/8" thick. Both of the female M22x1.5 ports are located on one end of the cooler, one on the top and one on the bottom. This 19 row size measures 5 3/4" tall (not including the hexes on the port fittings).

Note that the effective number of rows on this cooler is half the actual number of rows, and that the effective length of the rows is twice the actual length. Both of these factors increase pressure drop compared to the equivalent standard Setrab ProLine cooler.

Note: All oil coolers are relatively fragile. Care must be taken to avoid stressing the fittings when tightening connections (always use a backup wrench on the cooler fitting). The cooler should be mounted in a manner that will minimize vibration.
