Our heater hose is constructed of two layers of silicone rubber with a single ply of polyester reinforcing fabric between. The resulting hose meets or exceeds SAE J20R4 Class A standards. This flexible hose is non-molded, so it is easy to route in just about any shape required. The silicone rubber is fully compatible with plain water, common automotive coolants, and most coolant additives.

This 1 1/4" (32mm) ID size has a 0.17" (4.2mm) wall thickness and a 1.59" (40.4mm) OD. The 203 psi (1.4 Mpa) burst pressure rating exceeds the SAE requirement of 175 psi (1.21 Mpa). We recommend a maximum working pressure of 40 psi (0.28 Mpa). Temperature rating -46°C to +180°C (-70°F to +356°F). Red inner lining layer with a blue outer layer. Sold by the running foot.
