DTM Receptacle Pin Contact, 22-16 Gauge, EACH

This male pin contact is a part of the Deutsch DTM Series of electrical connectors. The pins are normally used in the Receptacle housing (the mating Barrels are normally used in the Plug connector). Add contacts to a receptacle housing and a retaining wedge (each sold separately) to build a complete receptacle assembly.

The compact Deutsch DTM Series is a modular electrical connector system that seals the connection against moisture and dirt (IP68 rated for immersion in water deeper than 1 meter). The system's reliability has been proven in real-world use on many brands of street cars. Rated from -55° C to +125° C (-67° F to 257° F).

Each contact is designed to fit a single wire size from 22 to 16 AWG, and each contact is rated to handle 7.5 Amps. Contacts are sold individually. Order one contact for each position in your Receptacle housing.

If you need an odd number of connections, choose the next larger Receptacle housing and order as many contacts as you need. Fill each of the unused positions with a Sealing Plug, Part No. 4193-001 (sold separately) to maintain the IP68 rating. Example: For 9 connections, order a 12-position Receptacle Housing, a 12-position Receptacle Wedge, 9 of these Pin Contacts, and 3 Sealing Plugs.

Note: The crimp collar on these terminals are stamped with the manufacturer's product code "20-01". This code does not refer to wire sizes.
