Weber Electric Choke Element, DGEV/DGES

This electric element triggers the cold-start choke mechanism on Weber 32/36 DGEV and 38 DGES carburetors. When cold, the internal bi-metallic coil spring causes the choke actuator to close the choke plates to restrict incoming air for a richer mixture. As electricity is applied, the spring gradually warms up and allows the choke to open.

This element can be used to convert the "Acqua" (water) choke on DGAV and DGAS carburetors, but it will not convert a manual choke to automatic operation. Requires a constant 12V DC power supply for proper operation. Sold individually, one required per carburetor.

Fits genuine Weber 32/36 DGEV and 38 DGES. Does not fit DFEV series or any other model. Not designed to fit licensed copies, clones, or "work-alike" carburetors.
