Weber Fuel Pressure Regulator, 1.5 to 5 psi

This is the original Malpassi Petrol King fuel pressure regulator, preferred by many Weber installers and tuners. It was even supplied as OEM on carbureted European vehicles including Rolls-Royce, Lancia, and Maserati. It can be used with most low-pressure carburetors including Weber, Dellorto, SU, Mikuni, Solex, Stromberg, Zenith, and others.

Many cheap pressure regulators on the market actually reduce the fuel pressure by restricting flow. This has the obvious disadvantage of potential starvation during periods of high fuel demand. The Petrol King uses an oversized diaphragm to ensure full flow at all times. It also dampens pulsations from piston-type and mechanical fuel pumps, helping to keep the fuel supply smooth and constant.

The Petrol King is compatible with gasoline and gasohol blends up to and including E85. Output pressure is easily adjustable between 1.5 and 5 psi (set at the factory to approximately 3 psi, perfect for Weber carbs). The maximum input pressure is 8 psi. Inlet and outlet hose barb fittings accept 5/16"-8mm rubber hose. Includes mounting bracket. Made in Italy.

For 3 psi output on cars up to about 200 HP we recommend feeding this regulator with a fuel pump rated for 6 - 8 psi, such as the Facet FEP59SV (476459) Gold-Flo Fuel Pump.
