The Optimate G10 Racing is an automatic 8-step charger designed for racing! Its dual-chemistry design lets you use it on 12V or 16V Premium AGM racing batteries as well as 12V and 16V lithium (LFP / LiFePO4) batteries, with optional charging modes designed for use while tuning or between sessions at the track.
Simply select the appropriate charging mode: 12V AGM, 16V AGM, 12V LFP, or 16V LFP (the selection will stay in memory for the next use). Then connect your battery and turn on the charger. Now select Fast Charge (for charging larger batteries quickly at the track) or Diagnostic (for slower charging, charging smaller batteries, and recovery of deeply-discharged batteries). Even if you select Fast Charge, the G10 will quickly test that the battery is ready to receive a charge before proceeding. If the battery is too deeply discharged, you will be prompted to re-start with the full 8-step Diagnostic mode. If the charger is left connected and turned on after the battery is fully charged, it enters a Maintenance mode tailored for either lead-acid or LFP batteries.
The Optimate G10 Racing can save most batteries discharged as low as 4 volts. Its Ampmatic variable output is suitable for lead-acid batteries between 3Ah and 240Ah capacity or LiFePO4 batteries between 2Ah and 120Ah.
Operates on 100 - 240 VAC input voltage (50-60Hz). This version has a 6 foot AC supply cord with a 2-prong North American (USA & Canada) plug. Recommended for use indoors only, in temperatures down to -4°F (-20°C). Includes a clamp-type fused charging cable and a SB-50 terminal fused cable, each with a quick-release 2-pin SAE plug that connects to the 6 inch charge lead on the charger. A 6-foot extension lead for the charging cable is also included. The charger body has tabs for permanent wall mounting, but a removable handlebar hook and a removable wall mount are also included for extra portability.
