Nearly all pump gasoline in the USA now contains at least 10% ethanol (E10). But ethanol is mildly acidic and it absorbs atmospheric moisture, two characteristics that can cause corrosion in your fuel system. Cars older than 2001 are typically at higher risk due to the materials used in older fuel systems.
Red Line Fuel System Water Remover is formulated to disperse the trace amounts of water absorbed by ethanol, both reducing the potential for corrosion. This also lowers the freezing point of the fuel to as low as -5°F (-21°C), reducing the potential for frozen fuel lines in cold weather. Additional lubricants help to protect fuel pumps and injectors, preventing damage and increasing efficiency. Fleet and dyno tests show efficiency improvements greater than 2% in diesel engines!
Adding one ounce to 20 gallons of fuel can remove up to one ounce of water contamination, but more can be used in severe cases. Compatible with gasoline, ethanol blends, and diesel fuels. Can be combined with Red Line SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner, Diesel Fuel Catalyst, and 85 Plus additives. Each 12 ounce bottle can treat up to 250 gallons.
