Weber IDA (Dual) Dust Cap / Throttle Shaft Spring Base

This dished washer fits over the throttle shaft and rests against the throttle shaft bearing on Weber IDA (dual) and Italian-made 40, 42, and 45 DCOE carburetors. It works to help center and provide a base for the throttle shaft compression spring, while also protecting the bearing from dust. Although Weber calls it a "cover" or a "cap" it might be more accurately called a base. Sold individually, each carburetor requires 2.

Fits genuine Weber IDA dual (2-barrel) and Italian-made DCOE carburetors only. Note that later Spanish-made Weber DCOE models use a different sealed bearing and O-ring instead of the centering spring and do not require this cover. Not for use on IDA3 (triple) or any other Weber model. Not guaranteed to fit licensed copies or knock-off carburetors.
