This special square-section O-ring seals the thermostat to the thermostat housing in the 2.0L Ford SOHC "Pinto" engine.

Note that this O-ring seal is designed to fit the original Ford housing, which has been unavailable for many years. Aftermarket or homemade housings may not have a deep enough recess to accept this seal.
