This special clip is designed to hold the thermostat inside the thermostat housing (water outlet neck) in the Ford 2.0L SOHC "Pinto" engine. One required per engine. Sold individually.

Note that the original Ford housing has been unavailable for many years. Some aftermarket or homemade housings may not have a groove to accept this clip.
