This bolt keeps the reverse idler gear on the reverse idler spigot in Hewland and Webster Mk4, 5, 6, and 8 gearboxes. Note that this bolt does NOT fit the reverse idler spigot we currently carry or the Mk9 gearbox (Mk 9 gearboxes used a 5/16-24 bolt.) Locking compound on the threads helps keep it secure.
