This bolt keeps the reverse idler gear on the reverse idler spigot in Hewland and Webster Mk9 gearbox. Note that Mk4, 5, 6, & 8 gearboxes use a 1/4-28 retaining bolt. The spigot we stock uses this 5/16-24 bolt. Locking compound on the threads helps keep it secure.
