It is designed to use the signal from your vehicle's speedometer sensor,* amplifying and turning it into a signal the Stack system can understand. This eliminates the need to install a second speed sensor.

*Note: Not for use with ABS sensors. Tapping into the ABS signal can cause unpredictable problems with the braking system.
