The Stack Chronotronic Tachometer is an accurate replica of the original Chronometric tachometer from Smiths with a modern twist. Solid-state electronics (based on the Stack Clubman Tachometer, Part No. ST200) provide exceptional reliabilty with the accuracy of stepper-motor needle movement.
The needle movement has been specially programmed to re-create the unique "chronometric" movement below 5000 RPM, with smooth and precise needle movement above 5000 RPM. Classic styling features chrome bezel and black 0-10,000 RPM dial face with white LED backlighting. Electronic peak RPM tell-tale memory shows the maximum RPM at the push of a button.
Supplied with mounting bracket, switch kit and manual. Waterproof sealed case. Compatible with all negative-ground ignition systems as well as magneto ignitions. Installs in the same 80mm (3 5/16") hole as the original. Bezel OD 88mm (3 1/2").
Includes a provision to drive a Stack External Shift Light (Part No. ST537, sold separately).
