Our self-powered Dual EGT Gauge displays two exhaust gas temperatures from 500°F to 2000°F without requiring a hookup to vehicle power. The difference in temperature between the probe tip and the end of the probe cable* generates a small voltage, which moves the gauge needle.
This 2 1/16" diameter gauge includes an 18" long dual sensor harness. When mated to probes with the standard 44" cables, the gauge can be mounted up to 62" from the probes. Extension cables (available separately) can be used in installations requiring more distance between the gauge and the probes. The extended range on this gauge is ideal for rotary engines.
Note: Requires two EGT Probes for 1" - 1.75" tubes (Part No. 1080) or EGT Probes for 1.62 - 2.5" tubes (Part No. 1084), sold separately.
* This gauge is calibrated for use at 70°F ambient temperature. The gauge will read higher in cold weather and lower in hot weather. For example, on a 100 degree day the gauge will read 30° low. On a 50 degree day, the gauge will read 20° high. We can special-order a version calibrated at 32°F for use on snowmobiles; please contact us for details.
