This adapter is used to connect an ST670 Proximity Sensor to the Engine Speed input channel on an ST8100 Dash. This hookup is virtually exclusive to diesel applications where there is no ignition trigger signal. This adapter is not needed when the ST670 is connected to the Wheel Speed channel.
