Stack Wheel Speed Sensor (Proximity Trigger Type)

This proximity-type wheel speed sensor is designed for use with Stack Data Logging Dash systems and Tachometers. It can be triggered by regularly-spaced ferrous objects passing in front of the threaded end of the sensor. A phonic or "star" wheel (similar to an ABS trigger ring) can be used, but many installations use the heads of the wheel studs inside the hub.

This sensor can also be used with the Stack ST670 to ST8100 Engine Speed Input Adapter to simulate an ignition signal to drive the tachometer on an ST8100 series dash display.
