This special wrapping tape bonds to itself without messy adhesive. That means no melted adhesive and no sticky residue when you remove it.
The adhesive-free silicone rubber tape doesn't stick to other materials, so it is great for temporary jobs. To install, simply wrap one full turn tightly around whatever you need to cover, then wrap additional overlapping layers while keeping the tape under tension. Finish with one more full turn. Properly-applied wrap is moisture resistant and won't come apart with heat up to 500° F (260° C).
Wrap tool handles for a non-slip grip. Wrap coolant hoses or pipes to temporarily repair minor leaks. Wrap wiring harnesses for extra insulation, or for a softer alternative to zip ties and corrugated sleeve.
Red silicone tape resists water, coolant, saltwater, acid, and UV exposure. 1 inch wide roll measures 10 feet long.
Note: Because this tape has no adhesive, it will not stick to anything other than itself or a similar rubber product. It must be wrapped around an object in order to bond to itself.
