This is one of the safest and most effective fuel filters made for racing applications. The rugged stainless steel housing is rated at 200 psi maximum operating pressure! The Fram HPGC-1 filter element has a nominal 5 micron rating* to ensure a clean fuel supply. Designed for flow rates up to 90 GPH with minimal pressure drop (0.2 psi @ 45 GPH). The female inlet and outlet ports are 3/8 NPT.
Includes one replaceable Fram HPGC-1 Fuel Filter Cartridge Element (Part No. 1123).and mounting bracket.
* A 5 micron particle is smaller than the diameter of a red blood cell.
Note: Not for use with fuels containing nitromethane or more than 10% alcohol.
As of October 2015, the housing is no longer manufactured by Fram. The filter element is still the same genuine Fram HPGC-1 filter.
