This ergonomic ratcheting driver from Beta Tools works with any standard 1/2" square drive socket (sold separately). The Beta orange plastic handle has black rubberized inserts for a secure grip and great comfort. The heavy rectangle-section steel shaft is designed for greater strength than round-handle ratchets.
The unique reversing mechanism uses a low-profile slider that snaps positively from side to side. No more mistakenly reversing the ratchet by bumping a little lever! Even if you hold the head of this ratchet in the palm of your hand, you will not accidentally switch it. Directional arrows also clearly indicate which direction the drive is set.
The extra-fine 72-tooth ratchet requires just 5 degrees of rotation to engage. It is ideal for use with 6-point sockets (sold separately). The solid, 17-tooth pawl fully engages all 17 teeth at once for maximum torque and resistance to slippage.
