Use these fittings to adapt to female BSP (British Standard Pipe) ports. British threaded ports generally either have a chamfer for an O-ring to seal the face of the port. If the port face is not chamfered, an aluminum washer or a Dowty seal is used to seal the fitting.
Note: BSP nomenclature can be confusing because the nominal size refers to the inside diameter of the pipe, not the outside diameter of the threads. If you are not sure what size you need, check in our Threaded Fitting Guide.
