Our Quick-Release Steering Wheel Hub has no pins or knobs to fumble with as with other types on the market. Simply squeeze the spring-loaded sleeve against the back of the hub to release three separate locking balls. The hub is tapped for three 5/16-24 bolts (included) on a 1.75" bolt circle for attaching the steering wheel. The hub portion is available in strong plated steel or lightweight anodized aluminum.
The steel 1" hex-shaped inner member is available with a 5/8" or 3/4" smooth bore for easy welding to most racing steering shafts. (It is not designed to be a "bolt-on" for any OEM splined shaft.) Choose the bore size that is closest to the OD of your steering shaft. If your shaft is smaller, you may need to fabricate a sleeve to take up the slack.
Replacement parts available include the Inner Hex Only (Part No. 3403) and the Hub Only (Part No. 3404).
We also offer a 6-Bolt to American Quick-Release Adapter, Part No. 3419-040 (sold separately) to mount your Momo, OMP, or Sparco 6-bolt wheel to this hub.
