These hubs are designed to accept a 1" Quick-Release Steering Wheel Hub Center Hex (Part No. 3403, sold separately). Each hub is drilled and tapped for three 5/16-24 bolts on a 1.75" bolt circle for attaching the steering wheel.
To release the hub from the hex, simply pull the sleeve against the back of the wheel. You don't have to fumble around looking for a pin or a release button. Three separate locking balls hold the hub tightly in place until the sleeve is pulled.
These are the same outer hubs (steering wheel end) as supplied as part of our Hex-Type Quick-Release Steering Wheel Hub Assemblies (Part No. 3400), without the steel center hex.
