AN Female to AN Male Flare Expander, Aluminum

This expander fitting will step your male AN fitting one size up. Because the fitting is one piece, there is no female flare inside to avoid damaging the male AN flare on your fitting. The outside of the female port has a broad, flat face to support a standard aluminum crush washer. These fittings conform to JIC and SAE specifications.

Note: You must use a Crush Washer (Part No. 3278-xx, sold separately) to seal the female end of the fitting. This fitting can only be used on a male fitting with a hex or other flat surface at the base. It will not seal on elbow fittings, male Tee fittings, AN flare plugs, or on the extended side of a bulkhead fitting.

We also offer a Two-Piece (Swivel) AN Female to AN Male Expanders (Part No. 3497-030), which can be used in all applications which cannot use a crush washer and must seal at the flare.
